Music is at the beating heart of our new school in Malaysia, just as it is in Brecon, where more than one in four of the students learn at least one musical instrument. Performances, recitals, and concerts of the highest quality will be regular features of the school calendar. Specialist music teachers from all over the globe will foster a love of music in our students.

Wales is renowned for being the land of song, and King Henry VIII himself was well-known as a singer, musician, and composer. Our new school, built in his name and with the formidable musical tradition of Christ College behind it, will celebrate musicianship in all its forms.

The school encourages participation in the orchestra, ensembles, and choirs of all sorts – great opportunities for group music-making. Elite musicians and scholars will be given every assistance to further develop their talents. Visiting professionals, conductors and soloists will entertain and inspire, with facilities to match.
