It is a great pleasure and privilege to welcome you to King Henry VIII College.
These few pages of words and images on our new website can only touch on the scale, ambition, and excitement of this wonderful educational venture – a co-educational boarding and day school, with students from 3 to 18 years of age.
King Henry VIII College is a relatively new school, but one with a history that stretches back more than 450 years. Our sister school, Christ College, Brecon in the U.K. was famously founded in 1541 by Henry VIII, whose name will grace this new school in Malaysia.
If ever there was a classical representation of “Malaysia Boleh”, then this is it – we can do it! King Henry VIII College will happily adopt this motto, too.
A successful education means transferable skills and qualifications, of course; it is also about becoming a young person equipped to face the challenges presented by today’s world.
The education at King Henry VIII College mirrors that at Christ College, and the curriculum is closely based on the UK National Curriculum.
The Christ College curriculum is carefully structured to provide a balance of subjects and to allow individuals to play to their academic strengths.
