At King Henry VIII College, students are placed in the appropriate year group according to their ages. In most cases, this will be straightforward, though for some children this may not match exactly the natural year group, as we will take into account a number of factors during the Admissions process. We will aim to place children into the year group that are deemed best for them academically and socially, and to allow them to develop to the best effect.
The Table of Year Group Ages will assist you in working out where your child will ordinarily be placed.

Click HERE to view the expected Daily Routine of the respective age groups.
King Henry VIII College is happy to allow prospective students and their parents to visit and tour the school campus.
If you would like to do so, and to make an appointment to meet the Head or one of our team, please do give us a call.
King Henry VIII College is a selective, co-educational day and boarding school, taking students from the age of 3 upwards.
Our HERE Admissions Policy is published on our website, and available from the School Office.
