Step 1 of 5

Applying for a Place

Complete the application form and submit it along with all required documents and the RM 1,300 non-refundable application fee per child. The application process does not begin until the form, documents and fee are all received.

Completed forms can be emailed to [email protected] or delivered to the Admissions Office.

Step 2 of 5

Entrance Assessments

Once your file is complete, your child will be invited for an entrance assessment by appointment. Assessments evaluate English proficiency, academic performance and potential to contribute to the KH8 community in an age-appropriate way.

References from current and previous schools will be requested where applicable. Applicants based outside Malaysia may complete assessments online or at an authorised office, and are subject to an interview.

Step 3 of 5

The School's Decision

Following assessments, the academic team reviews all findings and issues an offer based on the assessment outcomes, interview and application form. Offers for Year 12 entry may be conditional until official IGCSE or equivalent results are submitted.

In some cases an application may be unsuccessful if the applicant's assessed level is below what is required to access the curriculum effectively at KH8.

Accepting a Place

To accept your child's offer, return the completed acceptance form to the Admissions Office and pay all fees stipulated in the Letter of Offer within the specified timeframe.

Step 5 of 5

Preparing for Admission

Your family will receive a series of communications to help your child settle in — induction arrangements, the uniform list, how to access the student and parent portals, and introductions to key staff. Your child's KH8 journey begins before the first day.
