King Henry VIII College recognises that the needs of the children in its care are paramount, and fully understands its responsibilities for Child Protection.

The Designated Safeguarding Leads can be seen below. There is an extended Designated Safeguarding Leadership Team that is made up of the DSL and the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSL). If none of these persons are available then any referrals should be made to another member of SLT.

All staff must report what has been disclosed to the Designated Safeguarding Lead in the College.

If none of the Designated Safeguarding Leads or Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are available, any referrals should be made to another member of SLT.
